The Ohio Center for Broadcasting’s Programs (Radio & Television Broadcasting, and Hispanic Media Broadcasting) are
accredited by the Accredited Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), based in Washington, D.C. The School is approved by the Colorado Department of Education, and is a member of prestigious organizations such as the National Association of Broadcasters, and Colorado Broadcasters Association.
The International Program offers the international students hands on broadcasting training in fully-equipped radio and TV studios. The instructional staff consists of broadcast professionals with many years of experience and includes local on-air radio and TV personalities.
International students may apply for programs taught in either English or Spanish, depending on their preference and/or level of fluency as determined by standardized tests.

Program Requirements & Prerequisites
- Application
- $125 application fee (non refundable)
- High school Diploma (an original and a certified English translation)
- Official bank statement (original and a certified English translation)
- Copy of Passport Identification Page
- Audition (via phone or Skype)
Visa Application & Interview Process
Visa Application
Interview at local US Consulate/Embassy. Bring the following original documents:
- Acceptance Letter
- I20
- I-797 or Electronic SEVIS fee receipt
- 1 passport photograph
- Original copies of all bank documents used to gain admission
Interview Process
- Upon completion and acceptance of the admissions packet, OCB will provide the I-20 required for the M1 visa application process.
- Student pays SEVIS fee and should receive the original I-797 by post. http:// fmjfee.com/i901fee
- Student uses electronic receipt to schedule an interview at the nearest US Embassy or Consulate
- The US Embassy urges all students to appear for their Visa Interviews two months before the program starts.
- File application DS-160 online
- Pay application DS-160 fee
- Print and keep the DS-160 bar code page
- Attach the application fee on DS-160
- Student must demonstrate that he/she is a bona fide student and qualified for the program
- Student must state the visit is temporary and only for education purposes
- Student must demonstrate ability to pay for tuition and living expenses
Be Prepared to Explain
- Why you are studying in the US
- Why you will return to your home country
- Why you chose OCB (present brochures sent by the school to the officer at this time if necessary)
Tuition Information
Tuition is $15,995 for all International students. First payment of $7,997.50 is due prior to the start date of class. The 2nd payment of $7,997.50 is due prior to the start of the second quarter before the 18th week of the program
